Tena Graphics provides the Mind Your Head Sign for workplaces, commercial buildings and public facilities where low ceilings, beams or overhead obstructions require a clear warning. The pictured design combines a yellow warning triangle, a black head-impact symbol and bold “Warning — Mind your head” wording to draw attention to reduced headroom.

Low overhead structures can be easy to overlook when people move through stairways, basement entrances or service corridors. A clearly positioned low headroom warning sign reminds staff and visitors to take care before passing beneath the obstruction. Its direct message makes it useful in buildings where visitors may be unfamiliar with the layout.

Where Should You Display a Mind Your Head Sign?

Place the sign where approaching pedestrians can see the warning before reaching the low overhead structure. Suitable locations include stairwell entrances, low doorways, exposed beams, basement access points and maintenance passages.

The image shows the sign beside a concrete stairway with a low overhead beam. Choose the sign dimensions and mounting position according to the available wall space and viewing distance.

Coordinate Warnings Across Your Premises

Selecting each warning according to the hazard helps people understand what requires their attention.
